Every foreign applicant accepted to any course (iDTS, SBS Night School, MCC, Seminars) offered by YWAM Singapore, is required to apply for Student's Pass (SP) as early as 6 weeks before the commencement of course, under Private Education Organization (PEO) according to statutory requirement of Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA).
SoFM student (Singaporean or foreigner) has an option of live-in or live-out during the period of study.
For your budget planning, all costs (SGD) incurred for SoFM are in these 3 categories, as follows:
1. Tuition / School fee
i) Registration (non-refundable): $100/- (one person) or $150/- (couple)
ii) Lecture fees: $2450/- (live-in) or $1,750/- (live-out)
iii) SoFM Leader's pastoral visitation fees during internship: $900/-
iv) Internship fees: you will be advised during the lecture phase (varies with the country of internship)
2. Student's Pass (SP) application to Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA)
i) Entry Visa (optional): foreigner student's responsibility to find out & apply if needful,
ii) Visa extension (optional): $30/-,
iii) SP Processing fee (regardless approval status of application): $30/-,
iv) SP Issuance fee: $60/- or $90/-,
v) Security Deposit (SD, not applicable to Malaysian or Bruneian): $1,000/- or $1,500/- or $5,000/- (refundable#)
vi) Bank charge (incurred to process security deposit, non-refundable): $5/-
- above (i), (iii) & (iv) are dependent on applicant's nationality, refer to www.ica.gov.sg.
- amount of SD refunded will be slightly less than initial amount due to current exchange rate.
- you will only receive the refund in 6~8 weeks' time upon surrendering of SP. Any handling fee & bank charge incurred for SD refunding will solely be borne by the foreign student.

3. Living Expenses
i) Food (approximately, per person): $5/- per meal or $300/- per month,
ii)Transport: Move around easy by Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) or buses with EZ-link card. Refer to http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/
iii) Insurance (mandatory for every foreign student unless he / she has his / her own): $100/-
iv) Groceries & Recreation: according to your needs
v) Any accompanying child (to live-in): $5/- (below 10years) or $10/-, per day
