Accepted SBS student (Singaporean or foreigner) has an option of live-in or live-out during the period of study.

For your budget planning:
All costs (SGD) incurred for SBS are in these 4 categories as follows:

1. Tuition / School fee
i) SBS Registration: $120 (one person) or $180 (couple)
- non-refundable, applicable to every applicant
- payable, together with submission of application form
ii) Student’s Pass Processing fee: S$30 (male) or S$60 (female)
- *refundable, applicable to every foreigner except Singapore Permanent Resident
- payable, together with submission of application form

iii) School fee: refer to table below:

#Full school is inclusive of seminar.
#DTS is a pre-requisite for SBS application.
#Referral letter (from your church / ministry leader) is required for SBS leaders’ consideration if you would like to attend SBS without DTS, to be submitted together with application form.

2. Living Expenses
i) Food (approximately, per person): $3/- per meal
- cooking facilities are available at YWAM Base
ii)Transport: Move around easy by Mass Rapid Transport (MRT) or buses with EZ-link card, refer to http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/
iii) Hospitalization & Surgical insurance coverage : S$100/-
- mandatory for every foreign student unless he / she has a personal and similar one
iv) Groceries, Recreation, Personal medical expenses: according to your needs
v) Immunization cost & visa application (outreach preparation) & personal expenses (during outreach)

3. Student's Pass (STP) application to Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA)
Every foreign applicant accepted to any course (except iDTS, SBS Night Class, MCC & Seminars) offered by YWAM Singapore, is required to apply for Student's Pass (STP) at least 6 weeks before DTS commencement, under Private Education Organization (PEO) according to statutory requirement of Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore (ICA).  YWAM Singapore will assist you in your STP application.
i) Entry Visa (optional): foreigner student's responsibility to find out & apply if needful, refer to http://www.ica.gov.sg/
ii) Social Visa extension (circumstantial): S$30
iii) STP Processing fee: S$30 or S$60 (as mentioned in 1ii)

4. Upon approval of Student's Pass (STP) application
i) STP Issuance fee: S$60 ~ S$90
- according to nationality
ii) Security Deposit (SD, not applicable to Malaysian or Bruneian): $1,000 or $1,500 or $5,000
- according to nationality, refer to http://www.ica.gov.sg/page.aspx?pageid=320&secid=182#security.
- refundable within 4-6 weeks, upon completion of course & no breaching of conditions stated on STP security bond form, refer to http://www.ica.gov.sg/data/resources/docs/Visitor%20Services/SecurityBond_StudentPass_No_LS.pdf.
- refund amount maybe slightly less than the initial amount due to currency exchange rate
- any handling fee incurred for refunding will solely be borne by the applicant.
iii) Bank charge: S$10
- this is incurred from any Singapore Bank to process Security Deposit amount into Cashier Order (a form of payment mode) for ICA.
iv) Medical checkup (regulation of ICA):  S$40
