Want a taste of missions in Asia, but don’t know where to begin?  Give God one year and we will take you on an adventure to discover His heart for Asia!

A short-term program that orientates, trains and gives you practical mission field experience in one year, Explore Asia is for you if you want to see Asia like never before!  Start with an Asian DTS where you will get to acclimatize to Asian culture and food before your outreach in Asia.  Further equipping includes cross-cultural missionary training and frontier missions–focused Bible study, after which you get to pick any 1 or 2 Asian nations for your field attachment.  So come taste and see God’s love for Asia!

A three-year program that not only gives you a glimpse of Asia, but enables you to be part of an existing ministry whereby you get to build relationships, serve, and reach out to Asia with the love of God.  Besides the DTS and biblical training phase, the Touch Asia program includes an entire year of training in frontier missions with the full 9-month field internship, after which you will get to join an existing ministry somewhere in Asia for 16 months.  So come touch God’s heart by touching Asia.

From orientation to training, from exposure to placement, the five-year Pioneer Asia program will equip, enable, and empower you to pioneer a ministry amongst an unreached people group or nation.  With quality training and commitment to support your pioneering work within Asia, YWAM Singapore will help you implement the vision that God has placed on your heart to preach Christ where He is not known.  Prevalent needs in this region call for new ministries to be established!  So come embark on this exciting journey to be a history maker in Asia!

Explore Asia, Touch Asia, and Pioneer Asia start mid September of the year. All applicants must submit their application forms at least 2 months prior to the beginning of the program for processing, interviews, and visa application. *We place interns into China, Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, India, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam. Some locations will require specific expertise in the areas of healthcare, education, business, and/or other relevant competence.
